Today I delivered 10 cakes that I made yesterday to Martha Stewart Wedding studio.
It was really interesting to see how they work. And happy to be a part of it. I can't share pictures till September so I put some pictures of recent cakes from work. I had to go back to work after that so I couldn't stay to see how they shoot the cakes but even that short time, I enjoyed being there and talked to many talented artists. Many things are going on these days but luckily I got many opportunities and I'm learning a lot:)
今日は、仕事でマーサスチュアートウェディングの撮影スタジオに昨日作成したケーキを10個配達してきました。ケーキをボードの上からケーキスタンドに移して、少し手直しをするというだけの作業だったのですが、どのケーキをどのスタンドに乗せるのかなど、カメラマンさんやデザイナーの方々などが話し合っている中で、彼らの要望を聞きながら、少し手直しをしていくのは、とても興味深かったです。そのあとも仕上げなければ行けないオーダーが山積みになっていたため、撮影を見る事はできませんでしたが、短い間でもとてもいい経験になりました。最近忙しさは尋常じゃありませんが、いろんなチャンスにも恵まれて、いろんな経験をしながら、毎日学んでいます。
残念ながら雑誌発売が９月予定ということなので、写真はシェアできませんが、最近のケーキの写真を替わりに…。
