My cupcakes at wedding expo at Marriott Hotel in Times Square

After my moving I baked for the first time last my days off.
Because my friend Niko and Stef had wedding expo at Marriot Hotel.
So I baked more than 200 cupcakes for some treats for the guests who stopped their booth.
It was fun to try new recipe this time.
I made Red Velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting, Vanilla cupcake with Plum Sake glaze and Green tea with white chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting.
It was a lot to make but my roommate had kitchen aid so it was so much better and fun to make them!!
Thank you so much for giving this opportunity Niko and Stef!!! :)
It was really nice experience for me:)

New start!!!

April has come!!! :)
In Japan everything can be started from April like school, start to work, new system and many other things.
And now I just moved to new apt!!
This is big change for me and I'm so excited.
And I'm having good time in my new room and with my new roommates.
I already love to be here!!!
And today I started to take pictures of Chase and Farley!!
I haven't tried to take a pictures of cats in my life so this is my first challenge because I was dog lover and I always focused on dogs.
Everyday I'm discovering new things from how they move and how they express their feelings.
This is really interesting.
I will try to take great pictures of them in the future!!!

Here are their first shots!! :)
What do you think??

Poems

We are sharing "kizuna311" on Facebook with my friends.
And I heard many poems were read by some actors and actress in Japan.
Most of them were the poems that we learned in school when we were in elementary school or Jr. high school. So I already knew those poems but at that time, we tried to understand what the poems are saying and we discussed many hours. But now I found that I didn't understand those meanings.
Maybe only me in the class didn't understand or I understand as a teenager as much as possible but now I really understand how those poems are great.
And how they speak to my heart.
I'm sure that everyone has different impression and we don't feel the same because our experiences in lives are all different. That is one of interesting things of poems and I feel this way because I became 28 years old and finally I could have enough experiences to feel those poems...
I'm glad that I could meet them again in this timing. If not I wouldn't notice about power of poems and I wouldn't have chance to try to read them again.

Thank you "kizuna311".
"Amenimomakezu"(=Strong in the rain) I think this is the one of most famous Japanese poems.

"Ikiru"(=live)  I remember a lot when I learned this poem in the classroom.

"Matteru" (=Waiting) This was new poem for me.... but I couldn't stop crying.
