When I was talking about "heat tech" with American friends I needed to explain about Japanese English first. I told them just "They have good heat tech clothes." and "..." "What is heat tech?"
That's true... "heat tech"wasn't English... lol It's "Heat technology" (Am I right?)
And now in NY "heat tech" is getting popular!!
Today I went to uniqlo in Soho. There is one shop in Soho and there are many other shops like H&M, ZARA and so on but I saw uniqlo paper bags the most today and the second was MUJI(無印良品)in Soho. Isn't it funny? But I'm happy to find them in NY. Because I can feel how much Japanese products are good:)
And what interesting is ... in Japan Uniqlo's sign is "UNIQLO". But here in NY, the sign is "ユニクロ". And MUJI is 無印良品. It means "unbranded or unmarked and good product" but actually now MUJI is one of popular brand though.
They know which is attractive for American and Japanese.
I was avoiding Uniqlo because I always buy uniqlo clothes in Japan so I didn't want to go there in NY. But now winter has come and I really needed "heat tech" products. Still I have many uniqlo's clothes that I got in Japan but this year I may get a few more new "heat tech"!! But I missed every weekend big sale in Uniqlo. Here they don't have that... but still it's worth trying!! Why don't you try some heat tech, they will really warm up your body in this winter!! lol
*I'm not the staff of Uniqlo!!
