Crumpet pop up shop

Last night my coworker and friend Mary had a pop up shop at Bedford Hill Coffee Bar.

It was cute coffee shop and was serving both coffee and alcohol.
She served crumpets which is popular in England. I would say it's between of English muffin and pancake. And she made also ricotta cheese and even cream cheese by herself and served with crumpets.
I tried ricotta honey combination and cream cheese and pear comport combination. Both were so good!!
I always think here in NY if you have an idea you can make it happen. If you look for the opportunity, it might be not easy but you can find it!!
And Mary did show me it was true.
It was the first step for her dream.
I am so excited how she will make her dream come true in the future!!!
And when I talk with her she always give me energy and more ideas also. One of my favorite friends in NY!!! Ganbare Mary!!
昨晩、同僚でもあり、友人でもあるメアリーがブルックリンにあるベッドフォードヒルコーヒーバーにて１日だけのポップアップショップを開きました。
そこではイギリスで主に食べられているクランペットというホットケーキとイングリッシュマフィンのあいのこのような食べ物を手作りのリコッタチーズやクリームチーズやジャムなどを添えて販売。大盛況に終わりました。
こちらにいてよく思う事なのですが、それは、ここニューヨークではアイディアさえあれば、それを実際に試すことができる。もちろん小さいところからですが、着実に夢に近づけるそんな機会に恵まれている街だと思います。もちろん努力をしないと、そんな機会は見つかりませんが。。。
これは彼女が長年頭に思い描いてきた夢への小さな第一歩。
これから彼女がどうのように道を開いて行くのか。とっても興味深く、楽しみです。また私も彼女から刺激を受けながら負けないようにがんばって行きたいと思います。
