So I went to Applewood with my friend the other day.

I've been there when I was looking for somewhere I can get internship so it means 3 years ago.
It's in my neighborhood but somehow I hadn't had chance to go back there.
It was busy at the restaurant even it was Wednesday night. Maybe because of restaurant week but still last time I went there also it was crowded. We tried 3 courses with all different choices but everything was so good!!
Especially my atlantic hake was so soft and many textures were in the same plate. I really liked it!!
But after we had 3 courses I was so full and I couldn't enjoy the cookies that they served with our check. But it's nice to have something small surprising at the end.
After big meal it was nice to walk home in the cold weather... why it's still cold in March??
It was really dark in the restaurant so I couldn't take good pictures but I hope you can get some of image!!
先日近所にあるレストランApplewood にブルックリンレストランウィークということもあり、行ってきました。
まだ料理学校に通いながらインターン先を探しているときに参考のために行ったことがあり、気に入っていたのですが、なぜだかなかなか再び訪れる機会が泣く、３年も経ってしまいました。
水曜日の夜にも関わらず、お店は満席。レストランウィークという事もあるとは思いますが、普段からご近所さんから愛されているレストランです。
レストランウィークは大抵３コースのプリフィックスなので、私たちはすべて別のメニューを選び試しましたが、どれもとってもおいしく、特に私の注文したhake（日本語を調べると、メルルーサ。。。これは確か大学時代に調理実習で安い魚として習った気が。。。）はフカフカに調理してあり、またトッピングの歯ごたえなどが絶妙で、とっても気に入りました。しかし、３コース食べ終わった後は、お腹がいっぱいになりすぎて、チェックと共に持ってきてくれたクッキーは食べられませんでした。。。
でもそういうちょっとしたサービスはいつもうれしいですよね。
食べ過ぎた後に、寒い中家に歩いて帰るのは、とっても気持ちがよかったです。
それにしても、３月になってもこの寒さ、どうにかならないんでしょうか。。。
店内がとても暗かったので、写真が難しかったのですが、様子が少しは伝わればと思い、載せておきます〜。
