David Burke Kitchen

I had a chance to go to David Burke Kitchen the other day.
http://www.davidburkekitchen.com/
My friend and I tried to go their rooftop once but it was rainy day so we changed our plan.
And this time it was beautiful day so we tried!!
BUT it was so windy day... we had lunch rooftop anyway though... :)
But I saw the bread flew because of wind... lol

This is the building which has this restaurant.
(James Hotel)

Here is the basement floor which is inside restaurant.

This was gazpacho. Pretty!!

And this tacos were so interesting!!
There were tuna sashimi in the tacos with avocado and tobikko!!!
Because or tobikko it was a little bit salty but it was so good!!!

salmon

burger with jalapeño fries

This was red velvet parfait.
It was good but because of the wind a little bit too cold for me!! lol

And this was malt milk shake.
Which made my friend cold too... lol

If it's nice weather I'm sure it's perfect place to have lunch or brunch!!

The sky was so beautiful but the clouds were moving so fast!!!

Beach in NY

Last weekend I went to my coworker's birthday party at Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn.
I don't know why it is called "Manhattan" beach because it's in Brooklyn!!!
It was hottest day and the beach was so crowded!!! like Suma Beach in Japan...
(37℃ was the temperature when I got there!! )
But the water was still really cold in the ocean.

Nice catch!!

Having food and relaxed!!

Tres leche cake!!

Playing soccer was pretty fun!!

When I got home, there was amazing sunset...

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Today was my off but I had no plan but outside was so nice weather and I thought I should do something!!
So I decided to have some sightseeing in NYC!!!
And first thing I'd been wanted to do is "going to Metropolitan Museum!!"
So I just did it!!
I've been there when I visited NYC more than 3 years ago and at that time I didn't have enough time to look around so I just did quick look as most of tourists do.
But this time, only thing I need to do today was just enjoy this museum!!

So what I started with was hotdog in front of the museum like Albert from movie "HITCH"...lol

I saw them in the subway several times. They can sing!!

I took the same picture 3 years ago. But it was cherry blossom season so the Central Park was all pink!!
Nothing changed but now it's green:)

I like the light from this ceiling.

Some of pictures that I like.

And the sky was just so beautiful!!

Gorgeous weather!!

And amazing view from the rooftop of museum.

This is the ceiling that I like from outside!!

So many people are coming inside and going outside!!

This was the work of new Japanese artist.

Most of Japanese works were really old but not this one!!

And here was my favorite place...
Just there was sound of water floating.
This sound of water is so important for Japanese culture I think.
But I noticed it today when I came here in front of this work.
This sounds make me so comfortable and calm.
I used to hear this sounds a lot in Japan but after I moved here I don't think there is no sounds like this around me. It was really interesting fact that I found!!!

Thank you, Isamu Noguchi for making this work!!!

And I found many i Pad in museum...
Interesting!!

You can see this by yourself with i Pad.

And these clouds were like paint!!

I took the picture from here 3 years ago too.
Did I get aged?? lol

What a interesting day it became. I'm glad that I revisited here.
Many things are changed and many things are the same!!!
Life is so interesting!!
