Cakes

I'm working pastry shop and these days I'm usually working for decoration of cakes:)
And last week one customer asked me to draw mustache on the cake... I thought why mustache? It was because he will have birthday party for his girlfriend and all of them would wear mustaches... lol
That must be fun party!! And he liked this cake... When I could see how react they saw our cakes, I felt so happy but it's difficult to see them every time because we are working in the kitchen. But our baristas tell me their reaction as much as possible:) So I like them!!

In side was red velvet cake that I wrote on this blog the other day... and mustache was made with chocolate and pecan nuts!!

現在私はペーストリーで働いているのですが、最近はオーダーのケーキデコレーションをすることが多いです。

先週はケーキにヒゲを描いてほしいというお客さんがいらっしゃり、なぜ「ヒゲ？」かと思いきや、彼女のバースデーパーティーでみんなヒゲを付けるのだとか…。つい、カトちゃんケンちゃんの「ヒゲダンス？」を思い出し吹き出しそうになってしまいましたが、なんとも楽しそうなパーティーだと思い、ヒゲをチョコレートとピーカンナッツでどうにか描いてみました。ご本人も気に入っていただけたようでよかったです。このようにお客さんの反応が見られるとやりがいがあるのですが、普段はキッチンで働いているので、なかなかお客さんの反応を見る機会がなく、反応を伺うことが難しいのですが、カフェで働いているバリスタさんたちが出来るだけ反応を伝えてくれようとするので、うれしいです。
