Shooting in NY.

When I walk around my neighborhood, these days I found many shooting notices.
I usually see actual shooting both in Brooklyn and Manhattan but I didn't see notice them before to announce their shutting down road.
Then I thought about Japan, if they shut down one road for movie shooting all day, what will happen in Japan... ummmm It's gonna be difficult!!! But here in NY, small films, big films, there are shooting everywhere!!
I remember that what I saw big shooting for the first time in NY was Japanese commercial of Softbank. And there was Tsuyoshi Kusanagi from SMAP and when I was taking pictures as usual he talked to me.
If I was in Japan he would never talk to me but same Japanese in different country made it happened!!
That was good surprise for me.

Also a few days ago I saw "HITCH" on TV. I saw this movie before a couple of times but it was first time to see after I moved to NY. So this time I could watch it different way. And there was rice pudding place where my friend took me before in the movie. And Sara was living close to dance studio I went before. This is one of fun things to live in NY:)

Now new TV season will start soon and there are so many advertisements for new shows in TV commercial, posters in stations and magazines. So I was thinking what I want to watch this season and one of drama I wanted to see was "Pan Am". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMEske3ALcU
And the other day I found notice for shooting in neighborhood of our shop.
I couldn't go to see their shooting but I can't wait to see the show and see how they show our neighborhood!!!

And this film seems this one!!
My roommate told me about this article!! Sounds cool:)
