Jason Mraz concert at Madison Square Garden 12.10.2012

Last night I went to Madison Square Garden for the first time.
It was for Jason Mraz concert.
Last year I went his concert at Carnegie Hall but it was for children so it was different.
And I went his concert in Japan several times but now it's here in US and it's pretty awesome!!!
But I could see same his band members from Japan who I talked. It's been 5 years? but still playing with Jason!! That's amazing. But at the same time I missed Toca Rivera!!
It was rescheduled because of Sandy relief concert will be on 12.12 even though there were almost packed with people. And he sang both new songs and old songs that made me so happy.
And there were many old songs he did differently and they were pretty cool. Especially this song "Plane"

It has been so busy at work and stressful so it was just what I needed the most!! And his message to everyone was so sweet and made everyone felt love. After his concert, all the audiences were so happy and smiled. So did I:)
I'm so glad to be there and now I got energy charged for rest of busy Christmas season!!

昨日はマディソンスクエアガーデンで行われたジェーソンムラーズのライブに行ってきました。去年カーネギーホールのには行ったのですが、子供向けのものだったので、久々に彼のライブに大興奮。日本のライブに来ていてライブ後に少し話したトランペットのバンドメンバーたちは今も健在！！なんだかうれしかったです。
当初の予定は１１日だったのですが、ハリケーンのサンディーのチャリティーイベントが急遽開催されることとなり、１０日に変更。にもかかわらず会場は観客でいっぱいでした。新しい曲が多いのかと思いきや、懐かしい曲も多数。そしてアレンジが変わっていたりして、とってもおもしろかったです。中でも"Plane"は相当かっこよかった！！！
クリスマスシーズンということもあり、毎日忙しい日々に追われていた中で、まさに私が必要としていた時間でした。彼のみんなへのメッセージは相変わらず暖かく、会場全体をloveで包み込みました。会場を後にする観客たちはみんな笑顔でハッピーで、とってもいい気持ち。残り２週間となった怒濤のクリスマスシーズンこれで乗り切れそうです！！

I think this moment all the audiences excited the most.

Peter Cincotti @ The Living Room NYC

I just got home from the show of Peter Cincotti tonight at The Living Room NYC.
Just two months ago I saw him at the other place but this time the venue was smaller than last time and Peter and his band looked more relaxed I think.
And this time he was playing actual piano not the electronic piano!! And I really liked it!!!
Last time I had so many things going on and his songs made me cry a lot but this time I could just enjoyed his music.
Also there was one boy who was next to me and he was really interesting. We talked a lot before the show and after the show he talked to the crew from NBC who were shooting his show. And he got the opportunity to go their interview to Peter this weekend!!! OMG, I wish I could go there too!! But I had work so I couldn't go anyway but sometimes I see the people who can make the chances by themselves and actually take these chances. And I thought he was one of them. Anything can be happened in NYC. And anything can be made happened in NYC!!! That is what I think these days. But for that you need to be positive and aggressive!!!
And after the show another band started playing so I stayed just for one song and left, then when I exit the venue there was Peter talking with other band member and a few people... so I just waited till he finished conversation and asked him to take picture together!! I thought this is so Japanese. So I told him but he said "Don't worry, that's fine:)" with smile... how nice he was... but for that I couldn't say anything but "Thank you"!!!! I was too tired to my brain work from waking up 4am this morning. And last time I talked him when I got his CD with autograph I could talk to him more even there were many people but this time, when he was just in front of me one by one, I was too nervous to talk how I like his music like teenager girl!!! That was embarrassing a little bit and on my way home I regret why I didn't talk to him more!! Writing here what I think or what I feel is so easy for me but when something like this happen, I always become mush shyer than usual!!! It wasn't language problem but just about my personality!!! I wish I could be like the boy who was next to me today:)
Anyway I enjoyed a lot tonight show as usual!!! thank you so much, Peter!!!

Peter Cincotti @ Le Poisson Rouge

Last night I went to the concert of Peter Cincotti.
I went to his concert in Osaka 3 years ago. And this was second time.
Last time was just before I moved to NYC so I remember that I asked one of the members of his band about apartment situation in NYC... lol And I thought when I came here it would be easier to go to his concert but it wasn't. After that he didn't have concert for a while in NYC (if I didn't miss) so 3 years later finally I could go there.  He wasn't changed from 3 years ago. But I felt I aged... lol
It was just one day after from his new album came out. So he sang many songs from it. I wish I could sing with him but I didn't know all of it but there were many songs I really like!!
And that day I had lunch with my friend who is leaving NY so some of his songs touched me too much and I couldn't stop crying.  Especially this song...

But also he showed me what he's doing right now which is musical. And it was really fun to see. Actual actors from musical came and showed us their songs. Those moment I just couldn't stop laughing... lol
And I also I really liked the atmosphere of audience. It was much more close. And out seats was next to the family of drum person. So it was nice talking to his mom after the show. She was so excited to see his son on the stage. And he was really good too!! I really like when I share table with someone:)

And also this time I could go there with my really good friend from Japan Naoko. She was visiting here for 1 week but I was so happy to be there with her. She always be there when I have hard time.
