Paris Day 8

While I was there I met so many kids.
Everyone was so friendly and sometimes talked to me in French.

The boy who has yellow foodie is watching me...
He was so funny!!

And after I took this picture, I showed his pictures. And he liked them so he wanted to have them.
I asked if there was his mom I can send her pictures. But he was there with nanny (I didn't understand the word he said but it was not mom nor dad so I just guessed nanny) So I couldn't.
Even he knew I can't speak French well he tried to understand me and kept talking. So I could try to tell him more and we could make a conversation. This is fun moment in trip.

And finally I could come here.
Septime
When I heard about here from my friend, I really wanted to try.
So I came here on Friday lunch but I didn't have reservation so I couldn't get a seat. So I made a reservation then for last lunch in Paris. That's why the waiter remembered me and welcomed me so friendly.
When you go there, usually you need to make a reservation one week before. The waiter told me on Thursday first but it was after my leaving Paris so I told when I leave and he squeezed me in reservation. I really thank him doing that for me!!!

Veal carpaccio

And inside was all green!!

And I wanted to know what it was!!
Crunchy texture was so good with this carpaccio!!
When I showed this picture to my friend, he told me "asparagus'.. but it's not!! What was that??
I should've asked...

And monkfish with pickled carrots, zucchini and sauteed green.

melon soup with raspberry, basil, meringue and ice cream

It was nice to see in the kitchen from the table.

I ordered American coffee with milk and milk was foamed in beaker.

So I could enjoy even pouring milk... lol

He was the chef Bertrand Grebaut.
Everything was soooo good!! Amazing!! I don't know how I can describe they were.
I just couldn't stop smiling whole time while I was there.
All the taste, texture, combination were perfect!!
I could taste all the ingredients and different way of cooking.
And when all get together in my mouth, everything make sense.
I don't know how he did that. But it was just amazing!!
I fall in love with his cooking at once!!

And when I was there by myself there were lovely madams next to me.
And they told me many information about Paris and restaurants.
It was really nice seeing you!!!
Thank you so much for all the infomation!!!

And thank you guys too!! I'm sure I'll visit there next time!!!
I can go there every week if I live there!!
Too good!!!

And this was the bakery Mme told me her favorite at the restaurant.
So I just came here straight!!

And yes, it was amazing!!

And as I work in NY, I needed to check cupcakes in Paris too.
Berko

This was so French!! lol

And this is nothing related to cupcake but when I see this cigarette, I thought cigarette for Tuesday.
So he has all different kinds of cigarettes everyday... lol
But it was just "Smoking kills" or something like that... haha
But there were so many people smoking in Paris more than Japan more than NY for sure!!
